What's next in Microsoft case?

Closing arguments in the Microsoft Corp. antitrust case have been scheduled for June 19. The arguments will be the last open court session before U.S. District Court Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly makes her ruling. Closing arguments will be preceded by three hearings scheduled for this week, and filings of proposed factual and legal filings by both sides on June 10.
On Wednesday, the judge will hear arguments on three motions by Microsoft to dismiss evidence or sharply limit the scope of the antitrust remedy proposed by nine state attorneys general. On Thursday, she'll hear arguments on two Microsoft motions to dismiss the case altogether.
On Friday, each side will present experts to discuss enforcement of whatever antitrust remedy is imposed by the judge. Facing off will be two former chiefs of the Justice Department's antitrust division.
