Microsoft rolls out next gen software

Microsoft Great Plains Business Solutions (MSGP) is slated to launch its Next Generation (Next Gen) software soon. Next Gen will serve as a "building block" for a new breed of modules vital in the .Net platform - a set of Microsoft technology for connecting information, people, systems and devices. The first components of the .Net business framework is expected to be out before the end of this year.
"Our vision for our Next Gen products is the same vision as .Net itself, which is interconnectivity that allows you to access information at your fingertips anytime, anywhere on any device," says Joey Gurango, MSGP Research and Development Managing Director.
